Well sex would most likely be sucessful if you have it closer to your period. The ovaries will release an egg and then if the sperm meets the egg while it's still in the uterus then it will be fertilized and grow into a baby. But here's the tricky part it takes 2 hours-2 days for the sperm to get into the uterus through the vagina. So maybe try to concieve 1 day before your period-2nd day of the period.Maybe adopt a child to actually "feel" being a parent and the responsibilities thta come with it.Good Luck, best wishes, and i'll be praying for you =]

We had been trying for about 9 months and finally we just got a positive test result last week. I recommend having sex every day, in the missionary position (for the end result anyway) from a few days after your period finishes until a few days before it is due. It ends up being about 10 + days in a row. Also lie with a pillow under your bottom for 20 minutes or so afterwards. That is what wedid last month and it worked for us. Good luck!

If you've been trying for a year without success, then it's time to see a doctor. Start with your ob/gyn. They can run some simple tests in their office on you and your husband that will help pinpoint the problem and if you need medication, they'll write you a script for it. Your insurance most likely will even cover it.

After a year of trying it is time to see a fertility specialist. But have you tried timing intercourse with ovulation. Try charting your BBT, checking cervical mucus and position of cervix.

Hi welcome to my world!
We too have been ttc for a while now. I went to the doctor ,and had my hubby checked out too ,and found out that I have polycyctic ovaries. So although I get a period I don't ovulate- hence now we're looking at fertility drugs to help with ovulation.
Do you know if you're ovulating?
Are you charting your tempertaure bbt?
My advice please see a doctor to make sure everythings working correctly..

Maybe you should check out a TTC forum. I'm a member of two of them and they are very supportive and helpful in answering questions. You probably won't get the answers you want here.
