I don't think it's possible to "seal" it entirely, although leather obviously has natural sealant properties - which you're no doubt aware of - but it will always "breath" a bit and take on some moisture as it wears.
Your best bet is to speak with someone at a furniture store that specialise in leather sofas and chairs, or a saddelry. They'll have products (waxes, polishes, semi-sealants) that won't rub and stain your trousers (as opposed to a lot of the stuff you can get for leather boots and shoes).
I've often used 'Dubbin' (a waxy restorer) on leather boots and saddles - it makes them more supple and provides some protection from rain. And my school coach used to always get us to use Dubbin on our leather boots and footballs. There's also a few silicon-based sprays and products (e.g.: Scotch-Guard) which may be appropriate, and a range of saddle soaps and polishes that should be perfect for what you're after.

I've used 'Mink Oil', and 'Bear Grease' for years. Once one they get washed with a leather conditioner (saddle soap) then sealed with the aforementioned. When they show signs of wear or fading, apply a quaility leather dye and seal.

The best thing to do is go to your local leather jacket store. They have a bunch of really good products that will waterproof your seat. That's where I picked up mine.

If it gained’t come off with LTT Maxi purifier, then I’m afraid there’s no longer something you are able to properly use with out adverse the leather-based. Don’t be tempted to apply brush purifier, white spirit, turps or nail varnish remover as those are probably to wreck the leather-based end and make very final maintenance perplexing or impossible. instead, go away it to the pros who ought to be able to decrease the paint stain and shade over any residues. it could additionally be a sturdy thought to touch your coverage employer. desire this facilitates
