OK, I was cracking up when i heard the Bears traded Thomas Jones. First of all Thomas Jones was the Offensive Productor. Rex Grossman and Cedric Benson are the new offensive ''wonders''(unless they get a quality QB or RB in the Draft). Who else thinks this trade was the dumbest thing since Lovie Smith wanted Brian Urlacher to be a KR in the Superbowl. Now to the point. No they wont. The Bears are going to start Grossman next year. Thomas Jones and Cedric benson and the defense were your weapons. Now your defense is top-ranked, Yes but its not getting any Younger. Urlacher is getting slower. The defensive line at the Superbowl was Bad too. Looks like the old ''last years team isnt making it back to the superbowl'' . The Bears seriously need a QB in the draft. Here me out. since Troy Smith is projected not to be drafted in 12or 3rd round maybe you Bears could pick him up. I mean Grossman is unstable and cant get the job done when its needed most. Brian Griese is to old. and you guys have Cedric Benson to start at RB next year. Get Smith and Fire Grossman. You guys have Qualitie Recievers. You must if these recievers can catch footbals from Grossman. get smith and you might have a chance.

Heck no. The Superbowl is a once in a lifetime thing for most. Some teams get lucky, but rarely. The bears wont go back because the team will be different. They need a good quarterback for one. Thomas Jones is already gone. There are so many variables...

Answered one like this earlier, no. Saints are going this year, sorry. I really don't think the Bears can manage to go two years in a row with nothing to get them there but their defense, and special teams. I really think a lot of teams in there division will be more prepared for Hester this year. The Saints caught a lot of teams off balance the first year they had Michael Lewis as their kick returner, but starting the next season teams did a pretty good job of keeping the ball out of his hands.

no i don't think so. it's very hard to even get back to the playoffs. even if they did the playoffs are so competitive the chances aren't good. Also running the ball is the bears game and they let thomas jones go. I'm not sure benson can get it done. seems fragile and hasn't played full time yet he's still almost a rookie

they won't return to the super bowl, but there's a long time between now and the upcoming season...i think grossman will improve, but their running game will not be as explosive with benson carrying the load alone, and they need to hope that lance briggs will be willing to play and play hard because he is a lot of why urlacher is so effective...as for the defense getting old though, that's not true, urlacher, briggs, tommie harris, alex brown, mark anderson, and nathan vasher, the key pieces to the defense are all young guys...but again, i think that with the loss of jones their running game will not be able to save grossman, although he may improve

Untill Rex plays there, they have no chance. Also because they gave up Thomas Jones and now Briggs wants out.

no they have already made too many foolish trades and bad free agency mistakes they got rid of ron rivera which will hurt them. they also only have cedric benson and he hasn't proven he can be the only running back for the bears.

That's like asking if Joan Rivers will ever be normal looking.

I hope so, but I think they would have a better chance if they ditch Grossman
