Hey I was wondering if anyone could recomend a good book on beginning C++ programming.

You can read the How to program C++ from deitel. It has many samples and it explains well all teh thing about c++.

"C++ for dummies" It's easy to read, comes with C++ software and provides in depth explanations. Although it is a few years old...

anything from Oreilly i believe to be the best ...and i really suggest you do not use any of the for dummies books but that is my personal opinion
