Glendale/Bore-bank isn't much to speak of. Perhaps you can hop on the 134 and head over to Pasadena. McMurphy's is okay.

Or if you can make it to the Fairfax area, I'd give a BIG thumbs up to Molly Malone's. It's worth the distance.
