You're not stupid or controlling. I think your just plain needy. You are just like me...always wanting to be #1. I know how ya feel. I want to be on the top of my friends lists too, but hey, it doesn't always work out like that. I'm over it and you will get over it too. Don't ruin a friendship over this, or pretty soon, you wont have a friends list at all..........

Emotions are a funny thing. Often couples get back together and often someone who is emotionally abused or played will be blinded by the emotional void that is fulfilled when the player is around..
Bottom line is if you like your friend but don't like one of her choices you shouldn't throw your friendship away. You should try and be supportive of her but at the same point in time give her valuable advice.
If she's happy you should be happy.

So do you know for sure she is a lesbian? Have you ever been around women period? They can be awful close and still not actually have a sexual relationship. Just saying your one doesn't make you one! In any case..I wouldn't say stupid but jealous maybe! If they are actually lesbians then you need to get use to being second if not you need to get over it and be her friend.

At first it sounds childish to get jealous of who your best friend chooses to be good friends with. But when you think about it, you have to realize that, that is who she has feelings for emotionally, so therefore, she is going to react differently towards her than she is towards you. It does not mean she does not care for you, which I'm sure she does, but if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, whichever your preference, I'm sure you can feel the emotional difference.

I think when your friend said she wasn't going to talk to this girl, she was prolly upset and she didn't mean what she said. We all say things we don't mean out of hurt, anger, pain or whatever. She has feelings for this girl and wants to give it another try, be a friend and support her in her decision.

if you really dont want to be bffs with her, just tell her but gently. if you don't , try to tell her that you feel as if youre being left out because it sounds you are. things willl go from there.
