Ok, this driving me INSANE. There are two movies that I used to watch as a kid that I CANNOT remember what they are now. I remember VERY few details but it is still driving me bonkers. I already have a question posted about the first, and all I remember of the second is a flute carved from a bone. Someone finds a bone and makes it into a flute. I know that sounds weird, but that's what I remember... I would be eternally grateful to anyone who knows what the hell I am talking about!! THANK YOU!

Dear Sherience,
The only flute carved from bone that I can remember comes from the 1962 George Pal Cinerama production, "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. The flute is part of one of three fairy-tales told in the movie, called "The Singing Bone".
In the story, a cowardly knight and his servant come upon a ferocious dragon. While the knight hides, the servant, mostly with luck and some bravery, kills the dragon. The knight, wishing to gain the glory, kills and buries the servant, then goes off and becomes famous. Years pass, and one day a young boy finds a leg-bone from the servant's skeleton and carves it into a flute. When he plays, the servant's voice sings the story of the knight's treachery. The boy takes the singing bone flute to court, plays, and the truth is revealed, and wrongs are righted.
The other fairy tales are based on The Dancing Princess, and The Shoemaker and the Elves.
This movie was shown on tv several times, so you may have caught it when it played there.

Hope this is the one!

It sounds like the children's television movie "The Magic Flute" (1994).

Try this link to see if it's the film you're after:

The only other film I can think of where something similar happens is "The Lord of the Flies" where they use a seashell to make an Ocarina/Conch...
