i want to make a website with videos in it, but i want to make sure that when anyone watches the videos, it is not sloww especially in other countries

hii to a newbie in the technology field...
see bandwidth is defined as the data transfer rate of the internet service you are using...
see higher bndwidth is used for streaming videos like online shows etc....higher the bandwidth the higher the data rate..and least is the waiting time...
see for normal usage u can start of with 256 or 512 kbps speed and then look upon ur usage...

You can control the speed of your server connection to the internet , but not that of thr user who is going to want to watch your videos.
There are formats and streaming video that aim at providing good video over relatively slow links , like 256 Kbs DSL
Bandwidth in that contect is the speed of the server internet connection.

bandwidth means the connection speed. u need fast connections to see movies fast...
