I was wondering if i should get guitar hero..is it fun..is it addicting..do they still sell the guitar for it..please give good answers.thanks

I bought Guitar Hero 2 and the guitar for my hubby for his birthday. I gave it to him (early) last night and stayed up until after midnight playing that thing, trying to master Heart Shaped Box. He likes it but not as much as I do, lol. (He keeps getting frustrated b/c he didn't do very well.) I would highly recommend it. I'm not big on video games (although I love Tiger Woods when I have time) but I can already tell I'm going to spend hours playing that thing, lol.
There are 2 different wireless guitars available. I got the game and guitar at Wal-Mart and it was around $120 for both (with tax).

Which one are you looking at getting? Guitar Hero I or II? Personally, I think you should go for the second one because it has more options for play and a ton of new songs.
The game is super addicting. I played in a Best Buy and I didn't leave the store for hours. Then I got it for my 19th B-day. I bought the second game last November with second controller. It's more fun when you play it with a partner in Multiplayer mode.

Yes you should, it is fun, it is addicting, they sell both Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II in the package with the guitar and you can't miss it in the store (read: its big). Either get both games with a guitar each, or just get the second one and buy an extra guitar because the two-player (on the second one) is pretty great also.

Guitar hero is a pretty awesome game. My best friend got the game and guitar in a packaged deal making it much cheaper than buying it seperate. The first one is much better than the second one because it has much better songs to play. Rock on.

When i first saw guitar hero i thought it looked pretty boring, but when my friends said i should try it i did. It was the most fun I've had on a game. It has songs that are actually played in real life. Not made up. So you should definitely try it.

I'd definitely go buy it. It comes with the wired guitar controller, but you can buy a wireless one separately.
And for Ted B....I'd imagine that he'd want it only if he likes rock n roll. Was he expecting rap songs on it? lol.
But yeah...even if you aren't good at playing a real guitar, this game can still be fun for the whole family ( my parents are addicted lmao).

yes its fun. it is addicting, but you should play for more than an hour in a row otherwise your eyes and hands will hurt like hell.

Yes you should, but only if you like rock and roll music. It is pretty addicting and is fun when you know how to do it. The guitar comes with the game and you can pretty much buy it at like walmart or best buy (duh)

If you like video games and you like music, you have to buy it. It is ALOT of fun. My only complaint is that once you beat it, its pretty much over. I wish there was an expansion pack or something. Its been fun for my whole family, we all love it!
