Americans are becoming fat and lazy! Fat people gross me out!! They ***** and complain about being fat and then they dont get off their fat asses and do anything about it! I'm sick of hearing excuses!!! Fat people should all have their jaws wired shut! and the parents of those fat kids on the Maury show should be in jail for slowly killing their kids by feeding them large pizzas and french fries! Its so gross!!! and yes this is an opinion from a overweight housewife that lives on the couch watching The Simple Life all day...Hmmmm......

Usually because either their parents did not get them into that sort of stuff when they were young, and now they are just too shy....or they did, and they weren't interested. I'm guessing if it's "everybody" maybe your local elementary schools, or city parks and recreation departments or YMCA's are not pushing for enough team sports when kids are in kindergarden or first grade, it starts there...Maybe that could be a goal for you, to be a fitness instructor, or a city leader who gets the kids programs together so local kids have a big variety of physical programs and sports to choose from....Also...everyone has different gifts...sports are not for everyone...some people excel in science, some in art, some in math that is how we get doctors, lawyers, scientists, artiest, teachers, politicians, rock stars, opera singers, sports stars....... everyone is good at something.

It really has a lot to do with the habits of the parents and family. Some families are into sports more than others.

Maybe because some of them were not taught to enjoy sports. That, or maybe their parents never stressed excersise. I enjoy reading and my studies, but after studying all day it's nice to take a long walk, or go swimming. I'm not into competative sports, but I do enjoy some physical activities.

its how they are raised.if the dad or mom played sports and is always watching sports on television and goig to sporting events then their kids will be interestedin sports also.i would also bet that you and one of your parents spend or have spent a lot of time playing catch , basketball etc.. with you at home maybes those other kids parents did not.

Not everyone thinks sports are fun. That doesn't make them lazy. They just enjoy other things.

I'm 15 and I do daily exercise. I think its our modern-day gadgets that makes us stay home. Sometimes it depends on our friends and whether or not our community has recreational facilities. Its all in the person and their surroundings.
