On my XP system, I click the Start button on lower left screen, goto Control Panel, open the Time Date folder. Then I click on time zone where there is a box to check for automatic daylight savings time option.
We now have to UNCHECK the option, and set the time manually when we need to.
I hope this works for you!!

IF your computer has been applying the automatic updates from Windows, it should change properly. IF NOT, then you will need to adjust your clock manually.

I just read that XP is all set with this and should update automatically. You'll find out tomorrow morning.
