Eeewwwww, yeah. And no offense to anybody. I was engaged to an Italian guy (Sicilian, of course) We invited a couple of his friends over for dinner. One guy brought a bottle of wine. The other (who owned a slaughterhouse), brought me a box with a fresh, and I mean really fresh, as in just slaughtered) liver in a box, which was a compliment since such things cost a fortune. I graciously thanked him, begged my fiance"s forgiveness because I suddenly had to run to my mother's because she was ill. And spent the rest of the night puking my guts out because I am a vegetarian. To this day I vomit when I think about opening that box. But I also understand where he was coming from, and would not want to hurt his feelings or show disrespect. And no, my mom was really not ill, I was!!!!

Worst Christmas presents I received were from my ex-grandparents. i'm no longer blabbing about my grandfather because he's gave up the ghost. no longer his fault besides. I loved him and forgave him. i'm no longer precisely Christian, yet out of recognize for my father and his father and mom, I celebrated Christmas and Chanukah. I waited for Christmas to open my presents. My Christmases weren't that reliable and that i made up lost cases after I had undesirable. i did not placed up a Chanukah bush this year. yet, I were given undergarments (needed), small bag of tissues (ninja turtles, i became a woman!), no longer something ever on my 'xmas' record truly. I type of gave up and moved onto what i could purchase with my personal funds. besides the undeniable fact that, it does damage even as all you want for xmas became books. Any type of books see you later because it became fictional and in no way religious. i'm a reader.
