Becky was with John in high school & she got pregnant. They were both way too young & scared at the time. To make a long story short, the baby was adopted by Becky's parents. Becky & John split up, went their seperate ways. Before Becky's first wedding John called & spoke with her fiancee Steven, telling him that he was still in love with her & to take good care of her because she deserves it. A month later John married Stephanie (we think she was the rebound girl). Five years later, when Becky & Steven's marriage was coming to an end, Steven confessed to Becky what John had said. John is now divorced, Becky is on her second marriage which unfortunately, is not working out. Becky and John's relationship was more than just a high school romance. They were soulmates. Becky found John on Myspace yesterday & wrote him a letter. She came across his number last night, should she call him or wait for his reply?Note* John is not on myspace often, if we wait for his reply it could take weeks.

The 1st thing Becky needs to do is resolve her marriage one way or the other. Either fix her marriage, or get a divorce. Then she will be free to contact John.
Judging from the track record of these two I would give a snowball in hell better odds.
Personally, I don't buy into that "soulmate" balony. You are talking about an unresolved high school romance.
Had Becky, & John managed to keep the relationship going long enough to get married, they would have been divorced by now I am sure.
Becky needs to find out some things about herself before she starts up any new (or old) relationships with men. History has a habit of repeating itself if we don't take the time to learn from it.
The same goes for John. ;-)

Well, why not? If she is 100% certain that she is going to get divorced from this 2nd guy, then sure. At least Becky and John should get together and talk about their relationship, past, present and future. It seems as though no matter how hard they try, they can't seem to get away from each other. Now that they're more mature, maybe things will work out between the two of them.

I think you should wait for the response. There is no reason to push this man for an answer when it has waited so long anyway. Be wary, afterall, John married Stephanie, and claims he was in love with Becky then. There is no reason for Becky to call him since she can't wait for a reply. She should be keeping up to date on her husband, and not worrying about the one that got away.

She should wait for his reply what is the rush she is still a married woman whether it is going good or not. She needs to take the time while waiting for his reply to decide if she is going to divorce for a second time or try some counseling to make her marriage work. It is not OK to ask John for any kind of commitment while she is married, he may already have a girlfriend. If she knew that john loved her why would she marry someone else?

You've waited this long. *Wait for his reply*. Calling him could put him "on the spot" as you don't know if there is anyone in his life or if he is even ready and willing to get involved with anyone. If it was meant to be...a few weeks isn't a long time in the overall scheme of things. Be patient.

I would wait for his reply, she has already sent him a message. When she sent the message, an email was prolly sent to him saying that he has recieved a myspace message. I think she'll be hearing from him soon.
