No,.. this IS Daylight Saving Time we're about to enter into. We are in STANDARD TIME now, (3/10/07 23:55 EST).
It's just starting early, beginning this year.

This weekend, we are set to "spring forward" one hour to daylight saving time. This will make getting up and being on time difficult for many who will lose an hour of sleep. It is currently, uncertain whether we will "fall back" to Eastern Standard time, right now.
