I think they only have 7 losses, the Mid-American's an established conference and some of their players are friends of Lebron. Wouldn't CBS want them in?

I think so, they had a great year. Hopefully, the committee will show them some love. Also, I think they got robbed at the end of the game. The clock didn't start immediately after the missed free throw allowing the other team to make a game winning shot.

I doubt they will, but it would be cool (as a Miami fan). It was a harsh way to lose and they had a great year. Unfortunately, the MAC conference isn't a standout in the eyes of analysts compared to the bigger conferences which get tons of bids.

I wouldn't say they were cheated either... as the guys on ESPN said, if they made the free-throw, the final play would be moot. Even if the clock was perfect, chances are it still would have been in time... but the free-throw left the door open, and they paid the price.

First off, what does being friends of LeBron have to do with anything? And no one, not CBS or ESPN, matter because it's up to the group of guys that will be locking themselves in a room tommorrow to select 65 teams.

With that being said, I don't think their conference is tough enough for them to get in. Miami (OH)won the conference championship and that's it. There's much better teams with better records and RPI's that will miss the tourney.

Why would cbs have anything to do with them getting in? They should not and will not get in, they are 0 and 1 against the rpi top 50 and have played no one good. They have lost 6 games to not very good teams and the Mac isnt a very good confrence. They needed to beat Miami but they couldnt do it.

well first of all cbs has no input into the selection process

second, there are too many teams with more quality wins for akron to get in, the bubble is just too crowded this year for a team with akron's credentials to get in...they'll be in the nit
