Not without destroying itself in the process. With Muslims, that is the problem. They would probably think it was worth it.

As things stand now, only if they want to commit suircide. But it would be better for everyone if it were possible to stop them from building capabilities that might tempt them to try it in, say, another 10 or 12 years. Meanwhile, because they feel on a high because of the fact their proteges in Hizbollah didn't get completely pasted in last summer's war, they're throwing their weight around in the region and adding to an already complex situation that should be cooled down, not heated up.

Nope,at least I don't think so...Now there is a higher probability to see Israel destroying Iran...but in that case WW3 will start and who knows how many countries will be destroyed...

No. I think that they will attack them but I believe that they will rue the day that they do. I believe that they are the chosen people of God and will be protected from destruction.
I don't think that this extends as far as Israel not being able to be attacked and hurt really bad, but they are protected.
Now the USA?.....I think we are in for some shocks.....I think that we are going to look back at our $2.40/gallon gas prices and WISH that they were that low. The Great Depression? HA! It will look like a small introduction to what we will be tasting.

No. Because Israel has a very powerful 2nd strike capability, and the U.S. has very powerful 3rd, and 4th, and 5th, and 6, and 7th, and 8th -- through 200th, strike capability.
