This does not constitute an emergency for me. But what you can do, is use cover up to hide the redness some.

Hmmm, probably not a lot you can do in only 2 hours, other than cover it up. I don't think the redness will go away in time. Do you have a good concealer you can use on it? And maybe a little powder on top of that.

apply ice for 2-5 minutes. just rub it all over your upper lip. then take a warm compress and put it on your face for another 2-5 minutes. if the redness hasn't gone down in another 5 mnutes after that, take your concealer and thinly apply it. but the cold/warm should take it away.

Get an ice cube and wrap it in a paper towel and put that of there for 10ish minutes. Then if you have any green pimple cover up(green covers red)apply it by tapping it on in layers with your ring finger. They apply your powder etc. Next time get it professionally done.

i'm not sure how quickly it would work, but if you get a vitamin E capsule and then poke a hole in it and rub it on the skin area, that will help reduce redness. i did that with a burn on my nose before and it got rid of what i thought was going to be a scar.

The only thing that might help is Max Factor cover stick, other than that, wear lipstiick of the same shade so it will not be as obvious

Green concealer will counteract the red. I think Physician's Formula makes a good one.
Edit: DO NOT put ice on it, that will only make it worse. Why? Think people! What happens when, say, your face is exposed to the cold for prolonged periods of time? It gets RED. Duh. But if you want to make it worse, go ahead.
