Anyone watched Babel? My goodness, I dont know about you but I just didnt get the way it ended-
I mean it got pretty exciting when that mexican lady was left in the desert with the two kids and all...she gets deported, but then at the end Brad Pitt is talking to her on the phone, I mean how are the kids rescued? How does the Police notify Brad about his kids.... I dont know, it was just too 'empty' for me, at the end.

Yeah, Brad Pitt is talking to his kids BEFORE they go to Mexico. So the story makes a type of circle. You are not supposed to know how the kids were rescued because the maid didn't know. You are supposed to identify with her. Same as when they are in the car at the border. You need to identify with the characters. That is why it is so disconnected. You are not supposed to feel comfortable, or at ease watching Babel, you are supposed to feel as if you are (in part) one or all of the characters.

An absolute disaster of a motion picture. A highly disconnected film that intermingles different sequences into an impossible to follow tale. A piece of crap. Brad Pitt did little to improve this turkey, which is highly overrated by critics.

It was horrible how the nanny was treated! I wish that she had demanded a lawyer. I guess that type of thing can easily happen to a Mexican immigrant.

The movie jumps around in time, but within a few days the lives of interconnected characters were dramatically changed.
