Not really. The response I usually get are those with abbreviations like they wrote "BTW" for "by the way".

Whereas I prefer typing words in full. Haha! At least to what the message character limits me to. :-|

Probably not. If I understand your question, it really depends on the association I have with the asker and the type of answer expected. I know that sounds kind of vague, but it is kind of a vague question.

I think I do. If a question is rude, sarcastic, serious, or funny, I answer in a similar tone.
