why do many women play games, rather then be honest about their feelings?

I think that one goes both ways my pet.

I for one am painfully blunt. As a result I have been called many bad names in life. However, honesty is the best policy in relationships. That being said, both sexes play games. Not all, but most men and women are prone to this.

For today's girls it partly stems from the role models they have had thrust in front of them. Boys as well. Is honesty truly what is shown as a desirable thing?

Next time a girl is blatantly dishonest with you, call h er on it. Don't just call her a liar, be specific in your questioning. I usually say.. "Well I remember when you said blah blah and I believed you. Now you say a different thing. What gives? "

If she persists in lieing and you KNOW the absolute substantiated truth, tell her when she is done. Tell her she is not to be trusted and walk away. HOWEVER, make sure you are always scrupulously honest as well. Otherwise it might come back to haunt you.

Don't just complain, take positive action!

Maybe because these little games help them feel less vulnerable incase the relationship goes sour in the future. Be honest with your feelings and have a serious conversation and im sure you will get serious answers, since girls have some pretty deep convo's with their gf's. Just listen and be supportive. Plus half the fun of playing games is to keep the relationship full of excitment and mysterious of whats going 2 happen next. Makes you have to work for what you get, and in a way they are testing you.

As a woman I will be honest with you. Some women play games...because they want to know if you are interested. We want to know if you are enjoying the chase. Think about it...if a woman openly said 'Do you like me or not, make up your mind now', the truth is most men (and women) would freak out. So by playing the 'come get me game' is a woman's way of trying to figure you out. If men give into the chase, then a woman knows your interested. If men don't give into the chase, then a woman will tend to think you don't want to know. (By the way men play this game too, but its just modified) Hope this helps x

Why do many 'people' do this?

People 'play' games for various reasons, usually because of insecurities and for purposes of manipulations ~ in order to reach a desired goal and or to risk the minimum of hurt feelings while trying to reach the goal(s they set themselves and minimising the potential (hurts) through rejection.


One the one hand it can be rather sweet watching and listening to what goes on, while on the other hand, it's rather sad watching what are supposed to be 'Adults' (in Title at least) using 'child-ish techniques' in their games.

they play games because as any other game everyone tends to play a certain character which might resemble them....we have adopted it from playing childish games since we were kids.....but as we mature the games and the environment become more sophisticated everything is done in a more reasonable fashion.they are exercising there right to be wanted as all human being.

Only little girls (or women who haven't really grown up) play games. Find a real woman who will be straight up with you. The whole 'game-playing woman' stuff is a stereotype anyway.

Sometimes yall cant handle a real woman! When a woman wants you she will be honest, 1000%. You just have to be ready to receive her feelings and be able to handle. She wont be straight with her feelings IF she is not sure about you.
