I just got home from a basketball game. Before that I was attending mass at a local catholic church. I was sitting with two of my friends, and even after my repeated requests to stop, they proceeded to trash the bulletin I brought with me. After that during the game, they yelled at the top of their lungs that I had these weird diseases that I don't have, even when my crush was sitting just a couple rows away. I kept telling them to stop, and I even told them in a serious manner that I was upset at them and to stop saying those things. But still they kept saying them. It was a crowded game and I was humiliated. I don't think I should keep them as friends anymore. What do you think?

Friendship must have a high level of respect. No respect, no true friendship.

Take a few days alone. Think it over, you're intelligent, trust yourself to make the right call.

PS...what if your boss or younger brother or sister, mom or dad was in attendance and heard that crap.....

In the professional world such a thing is called slander....and it's a crime

Well if they did that after they knew how upset you were about it than they really don't have your best intrests in mind. I think that your better off without them. My suggestion is that you just stop hanging out with them, dont be mean to them about it because they might spread rumors about you and make things worse. People like that won't change. They might be nice to you one day but the next they will gang up on you and make fun of you. Do you really want to put yourself through that? My guess is not. So just hang out with other people instead that you know won't make fun of you and back stab you. Don't worry too much about people believing them because you know how things go in a couple days no one will remember and everyone will be talking about something else and it will be old news.

They seem very immature.
And the yelling in front of your crush may show their annoyance that you like this girl and be their efforts to ger her to notice them instead.
Whether or not that may be true, they still acted wrongly and stupidly and I wouldn't take it.

You were right to tell them in a serious manner how you felt about their actions, but the fact remains that they persisted.
Personally, I wouldn't chill with anyone who acts like that.

Keep them, perhaps, as acquaintances but not as close friends.
They don't seem to deserve to be in your company.

maybe advise utilising condoms. in spite of each little thing it particularly is a sort of start administration and once you're waiting to objective and function a toddler then in simple terms stop utilising them. That way you do no longer could complication relating to the outcomes that the pills (or despite type you could use) could have on you. i think of that must be the honest decision. stable success!

Seriously, these "friends" of yours sound pretty immature. You don't need friends that are going to treat you like that. Those aren't real friends anyway. I suggest you find some new people to hang out with that can act their age and be normal and considerate to other people.

well, if they were your friends, they wouldn't have done that even before you gave them a warning!anyway , let me tell you something. . . . . it is really hard, very hard to get at least one good friend.so be careful.and the story isn't over yet, you've got to be careful even after you get one inorder not to lose the only one!

god bless.

Your so called " friends " went way over the line of fun and you need to forget them as your friends.
