I just received my April 2007 issue of Playboy today (3-10-07), and I saw an ad, on page38, for Montecristo Cigars advertising 3 cigar's for $9.95. It says that the promotion ends June 30,2007, but the website says that the promotion has ended. ??
Normally I don't fall for an ad seemingly too good to be true, but, the fact that I enjoy a good cigar, and the ad was in a reputable mag. and the price seemed reasonable, I had hoped that I found a good deal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks to be an attempt to get you to visit one of their stores. Click on Playboy events and see if the stores listed and the deals offered don't sound vaguely familiar. The deal is the same but the details have been refined. In other words they want to sell you more than three or four cigars.

BTW, that is the April issue so maye you have to wait until the first to make orders.

Try it again it is working now.

Check the ad for fine print like "while supplies last". If you don't see it, write a letter (the primitive pigment-on-cellulose kind) to them saying that you are very disappointed that they aren't going to honor their offer because you've been a loyal, longstanding customer. Lots of companies give you stuff when you do that. If that sounds like too much trouble, you're probably pretty close to being able to shrug it off.
