severe temp paint will artwork on engine yet no longer exhaust. it may artwork on the muffler possibly. some mufflers get burning warm and others dont. inventory mufflers normaly get warm. additionally portray a engine traps warmth making you run warmer even thow some human beings do it. I painted a exhaust equipment as quickly as with 1500 degree header/engine paint and it nevertheless burned, bubbled, smoked, and flaked off. Ceramic coated or powder coated is what's superb. might additionally sand the exhaust down and varnish it so it looks crome whether its thieve it nevertheless polishes up wonderful in basic terms dry it off every time you wash it so it dont rust. whether it would probably be polish for top temp metallic otherwise the warmth takes the shine away yet will provide a delicate ranbow impact style of like warm titinium exhausts.

12 years ago I painted my 440 what I felt was the orange of the early 426 Hemi.It was an off brand, from a hardware store,$1.99 a can. Been driving it ever since, and still get comments on the "original" color!
Make sure the block and heads, intake, and any other parts are CLEAN, and then give them a good soap and water washing. Tide works great.
