Billy King is looking like Mr. Clee-O. Most of America did not see this happening. Philadelphia 76ers are better than Denver Nuggets since the change.

Phili:
Andre Miller is a playmaker and he can fit into a team easily. With AI gone, all the other players can play and shoot more. You have to agree with that cos with AI there, not many players get over 10 shots per game beside himself! Players like Iguodala, Dalembert, Korver and Willie Green gets more chance to play and shot. And they are decent players. With Korver and Joe Smith playing well from the bench, it is no surprise they can win ball games.

Denver:
There is no chemistry between AI and Melo and hence the downfall of Denver. Most players came back from injury (Nene, JR Smith, Bucker, etc) and hence no chemistry among the original team and there is really no playmaker in the starting lineup. Who is going to get them the ball? They should use Steve Blake more as he really can make some plays happen. Maybe a starting team with Blake, AI, Melo, Evans (rebounding) and Camby. And Nene/Smith as the sixth men. They still need a back up PG and a shooter.

It isn't a major surprise, though I might call it a minor miracle :p

We see it all the time in this league: when a star goes out, the rest of the team has to step up. In this case, everyone isn't relying on Iverson to take all the shots. Without this big established figure, they move the ball around more instead of relying on that single person. They compliment each other better.

As for Denver, it is difficult to stick to offensive starts together and expect them to work well together immediately. Both A.I. and 'Melo are used to running the offense. Though A.I. seems to be willing to pass more, I still think it will take a little time to develop that chemistry, if it comes at all. They also need to keep their teammates involved instead of them being merely assistants. They also need to be confident enough to take shots instead of relying on the big names.

YES ITS COMPLETELY TRUE. Look at Denver. When Melo and Iverson are on the floor together, their offense looks so confused. Same thing with their defense. And one thing: the 76ers have a winning record without Iverson, while the Nuggets have a losing record with Iverson. Coincidence? I think not.

Usually, when a star player gets hurt, suspended, or traded, other players who were taking on other roles begin to step up. When you played the 76ers with AI, you knew 70% of the time who was going to take the shot. They were pretty predictable and easy to figure out how to defend. Instead of one player taking on the scoring role, you have several former role players who now have the green light to score. It's a more balanced attack, and therefore, a little harder for teams to figure out how to stop. Instead of needing just one defensive stopper on AI, your whole team is going to have to be ready to defend. There is no I in team is so cliche, but it is so true.

More shot opportunities for Andre Iguodala plus a bigger and meaner Sam Dalembert
