I usually go to the movies with my boyfriend who is 6'3" and looks like he can kick your ***. I'll have him turn around and give them a look and if that doesn't work he'll stand up and say something. I just sit back and laugh. If I'm alone and they keep doing it after I've politely asked them to stop I'll say that if they kick my chair one more time I'll get an usher and have them removed.

Get Up and report him to the management. Move to a different seat and if no room to move ask the manager for a refund and go later. Usually a manager will discipline the dummy. I stopped going to movies because of annoying people who have no regard for the human race. Thank God for DVDs.

i ask them to stop politely. if they continue i ask again in a harsher tone. after that i get the usher or complain to the manager after the movie if i don't want to get up. an usher will ask them to stop or kick them out . the manager will usually give you a pass to see a free movie for your discomfort. its worth complaining sometimes. this also works with people talking throughout the movie.

Well, you can always report it to the theater manager, but it's simplest to just change seats away from that person.

I once said aloud "If someone doesn't stop kicking my chair I'm going to break their legs" (or someting to that effect) and they stopped.

turn around and glare at them or ask them to stop. I also tell idiots who answer their cell phones to take it to the lobby. Why does everyone act like they are in their own living room? Boors.
