Make sure your digital video camera is properly attached and turned on. If you are using the camera with another application, close that application before trying to open Photo Booth again.

I don't get it! The camera is built in & I don't believe there is anyway to turn it off or on. What do I do?

P.S. There are no other applications opened! HELP please.

At 1st thought I would say install/update the driver but there's no need for that on a Mac.

Hello Sari S,

I'm sorry that I'm just guessing here, but try getting into your System Preferences. There might be a video or iSight preferences setting under the Hardware section perhaps. There might be some setting that you need to fool with to get the computer to recognize the built-in iSight camera.

Another thought is that it might not be physically connected properly inside of your Mac and you might need to take it into the Mac dealer to get that repaired. Best of luck to you.
