No rumor the network that order a pilot for the show is actually ABC. I read this in the Wall Street Journal and don't know how many other episodes.
Does anybody remember the show based on those Baby Bob commercials? Geico Cavemen will meet the same fate canceled after 3 episodes.

True? I believe CBS bought the rights to make a show based on the GEICO cavemen. That doesn't guarantee it will be a show. Networks buy options all the time. They will run some market tests and then maybe make a pilot. Only if the pilot is well received they will go into full production.

TRUE STORY
ABC Television Studio have scored the rights to a television pilot for the funny Cavemen:
comedy revolves around three proto-homosapiens struggling to live the lives of normal thirtysomething guys in contemporary atlanta
People should not yet worry just yet, ABC test their pilots before picking-up a select handful, and judging from their other GOOD SOUNDING pilots, I assure you you should not worry! :)

Yes its true, they are making 6 episodes. but it is unknown if or when it will be broadcast, I would be interested in seeing what they come up with, it could be good if done right.

It's one of those things that's stupid enough to be plausible. I can just see the previews: "From the makers of Napolean Dynamite and Monty Python. . ."

Bad move, if true. And I don't want to see him without the makeup. Leave us something to believe in.
