Comets are small icy objects that orbit far from our sun and sometimes are kicked into the inner solar system were we can see them. Planets are larger than comets and since the galaxy contains many stars and planets it is the next biggest. Of course the universe contains everything in existence so it is the largest of all.

This may be a trick question
Although there are no known comets that are larger than Mercury, (now considered the smallest planet), This does not negate the possibility that one may exist but we haven't discovered it yet.
But, lets take our question from the stand point of discovered astrological objects.
We well go from largest to smallest.
First the universe. It encompasses all no astrological objects we know at this present time.
Second, the galaxy. The large majority of stars are contained withing galaxies. So galaxies are larger than stars.
Now comes the problem.
There are stars known as Neutron Stars. These stars are supermassive. More massive than the sun. However there diameters are only about 25KM or so. About this size of the Island of Manhattan.
There are also stars classified as White Dwarfs. These stars are approximately the size of the earth.
So, this means that just these 2 types of stars can be smaller than a planet.
The sun of course is much larger in diameter than even our solar systems largest planet, Jupiter.
So, this is how we arange things knowing what we know now.
Small Comet (say 750 meters in diameter)
Neurtron Star (25 to 40 km in diameter
Big Comet (It is believed that some comets are as large as 300 km in diameter) Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann 1 is believed to have a diameter of 96 KM.
Mercury sized planet.
White Dwarf. (about the size of earth)
Gas Giant Planet (Saturn, Jupiter, etc.
Galaxy
Universe.

If this is a homework question, then your teacher needs to learn more astronomy because there are stars smaller than planets. Ask him or her about neutron stars and white dwarf stars : - )
The usual MOST correct answer is comet - planet - star - galaxy - universe.
