(im a male) my best friend (female)
wants to know....

shes bin haveing minor symptoms since a couple of days ago.
she says things might be getting better "down town".
but still worrys. anyone have advise?

If she's absolutely sure its a yeast infection she can get medication for it at pretty much any store that sells medicine. If she's not sure then she needs to see a doctor.
Highly unlikely it'll go away without treatment to kill the yeast.
As for how long it lasts, about a week I guess would be about average.

I agree with Rita. Any woman who's had one of these very unwelcome visitors knows they don't go away on their own, they only get worse. Not sure it's a yeast infection since she has only had mild symptoms, bc yeast infections are usually pretty bothersome...

If not treated, it will only get worse. Tell her to run on down to Wal-mart and fetch some Monistat. Yeast infections do not just go away. Monistat. Seriously.

potentially a really long time if left untreated. it may go away on it's own, but more often it will need to be treated with medication.

The symptoms will last for as long as she has the infection. Therefore, the sooner she treats it, the sooner it will be gone.
