Honestly, if I were you I'd go to a dermatologist about this. I'm sure they can tell you alternatives to having to wear make-up everyday, maybe a prescreibed face cream or something that will reduce the scars. I wish I could suggest something, but I'm really not sure. I've tried Mederma, you can buy it from CVS, Walmart or Target... here's a website. http://www.mederma.com/
Hope this helps. Good luck~

You're not alone. We have a friend in his 50's who does this no matter where
he is or who's there. You really do need help in stopping it. My grandmother
use to do that. What a mess her face was, pock marked and big pores. Please
try to not do it. Some habits are hard to break. { I use to bite my nails-horse
liniment cured that. Ugh!} Good luck as OCD is not fun.

There is a cream out there called Mederma. It is supposed to help reduce the appearance of scars. My brother had scars from bad acne and this helped reduce them noticeably. It takes a while to work, but it will reduce the appearance. I hope this helps.

Try Sheer Cover, the stuff you always see on T.V or the bare minerals. I have heard tons of great stuff about the Bare Minerals, my sister uses it, the powdered stuff to cover her age/ dark skin marks from tanning her whole life, and it really covers well, I think for the whole starter make-up kit was around $100. I wish I could remember which one she liked better. But I do know I have heard great things about the bare minerals...

When your hands are free, play with a pen or a stress ball, or sit on your hands.
