I had Cooper, and they were OK. The Good Years I had wore out fast. I am looking for a nice set of Off-Road tires in a size 265 75R16 for around $500 to $600

Goodyear tires aren't cheap. The Coopers I have are cheap, and they have 50,000 miles on them. They just don't perform well enough in sand or snow.

It really depends on how aggressive of a tire you are looking for. If you are wanting a really aggressive tire, don't count on long lasting. All-Terrain tires are good if you do alot of highway driving and are looking to get more miles out of your tire. You could try to go to www.4wheelparts.com and look around they have a pretty big selection and are pretty comparable in the prices. If you want All-terrains I would go with BF Goodrich AT or Wild Country made by Cooper. The wild country tires are a little more aggressive. And if you want real aggressive tread, there is always the super swamper. Good Luck!

Dayton Tires are a good alternative to the big name and big prices. You don't say if your looking strictly for a "P" series or for 6, 8 or 10 plys and whether you want an serious off road tire or something more for all purpose. Dayton has choices in the various plys and treads.

Life's unfair. Cheap tires wear out fast.

For winter driving Blizzak. For summer driving, Goodyear or Michelin. Any of these may be over your budget.

I've been using the Firestone Destinations. Lot of bang for the buck. I would recommend them to anyone.
