Soil Question?

I am an Eight Grade Regents Earth Science student. For my final project, I am testing soil to see which one can best resist sinking. I need a small amount of sand soil, silt soil, clay and possibly loam. Where can I get this online or near Buffalo New York? All help is much appreciated

Go to a garden center or a nursery they might know.

You shouldn't have go too far if your ground isn't frozen 6 feet deep like it is here in North Dakota. Find a "Riparian Zone" (look it up) in your area and you should be able to find samples of all of them in one place. RScott
