I submitted my daughter's pictures to KTN, and they have contacted me about wanting to help market her to talent agencies. Of course they have flattered me with how beautiful she is, but they also want a lot of money. Does anyone work with them already or know about their reputation? I have seen a lot of scams for child modelling and I don't want to be the latest victim!

Thanks!!

They are not a scam! I was waiting for someone to ask this question as I keep seeing people who are saying that.

My child started with Kids Talent Network about a week ago and we've already had a great experience by being a part of the Criss Angel - Mindfreak show. We were one of four kids from KTN. The other kids involved were extremely cute and that leads to me to believe that they just don't accept "everyone."

At first, I was a little concerned about them asking for money, but this is ALL the money they get. They create you a website (which would cost you more if you did it on other sites).

On their website, it says they are "like" a talent agency. Of course, one that did not charge you would take more money in the end. To me, its not that much money, its for 3 years.

Depending on where you live, its hard to get representation from an modeling agency if you do not live in the area.

If you have any more questions, you can e-mail me.

3/13/07 - Check out their website under "news" and you will see all the talent they have. I think that is a big accomplishment. They even have pictures of my child with Criss Angel.

i have also submitted pictures of my 5 month old son to KTN and was told he had great potential. i communicated with someone named Christine who is supposed to be the head scout and after 4 or 5 e-mails and a lot of questions being answered i received a phone call from the owner of the company. between the 2 of them this is all the info i gathered about KTN. they charge a fee of almost $500 to maintain and promote a website of your child for 3 years (fee is tax deductible) you will be instructed on what types of pictures to take and they update the site every 3 months and the site is only viewed by casting directors, modeling agencies etc. i had received a letter in the mail by a company called adkids shortly after my son was born and i had called the company to inquire more information. if you look at that website adkids.com they have some (i hate to say this) very ugly babies and kids. i was warned by KTN about adkids and judging by the kind of clientele they carry i can understand why. i looked up KTN on ripoffreports.com and they were not listed but there are a lot of other agencies listed on there so that site is worth checking out. anyway i hope that answers your question. as far as my baby's concerned, i will be contacting KTN back once i get my tax return and i'm going to sign up for their services. best of luck to you

They are a SCAM !!!
A reliable agency does not ask you for money. They are only in business to take your money and when you don't get any work blame you or the child. If they told you that she would be put in a catalog, and agencies see it she will get work. LIES LIES LIES If you want an honest opinion call or write to the top agencies in your town or in L.A. or N.Y. the big agencies will have a telephone message that tells you how to submit a photo and what they need. It takes about three months to hear back from The Ford Modeling Agency. DON'T GIVE KTN ANY MONEY NOT ONE RED CENT.
Been there--done that--got the empty wallet to prove it.

Big Time Scam. My wife actually signed my son up and paid the $500 bucks. We were seconds away from divorce since she did this without my consent. She apologized profusely for doing this and now admits to this being a scam. After thoroughly looking over the contract it's apparent their is no way for me to sue them for my money back. Hopefully, it's not to late for you.
