It hasn't been weird for a "white guy" to like rap music since the mid 90s!
It's completely normal.
It's when you act "gangsta" that people freak out at ya. as they said in the 80s, that's just whack. Love the music, but don't turn your suburban middle class self into a thug-wannabe. That's the only faux pas.

nothing weird about it. i know a lot of guys who love rap and know so much about it. there is no fcking big deal... you can like whatever you want, it doesnt matter about skin color or whether you live in the hood or in a mansion.

I think you got it all mixed up. It's fine for whites to like rap but when blacks like rock...they're "acting white". It's all bull...like what you like.
