I watched the first episode and I searched it and it said that he was gay and I was sooooo disappointed because I want Ryoma to end up with Sakuno.

The Yaoi fangirl in me totally went : "YES!!" when I read your question. But since the majority of the readers know he isn't, the fangirl snoopy dance was cut short. Now, I'm disappointed.
In any case, I agree that he is too young for him to be considering his sexuality. He has a goal he wants to meet, which from what I heard, he wants to be better than his father (perhaps his brother as well), beat him at his own game so to speak. At the moment there is nothing anybody can do to stop him from reaching that goal.

I doubt it. He's just concentrating on tennis. That's why he's so good. He doesn't allow anything to distract him, even girls.
Prehaps somewhere down the line, he'll get a girlfriend. Might even be Sakuno. We'll just have to see.

I don't think he's is, he's just clueless and likes tennis a lot. There's this one episode where Sakuno made him a lunch and at the end he was eating it and she asked him about her cooking. He responded, but it wasn't about the cooking. She thought it was about the cooking and got upset and took the lunch from him. Then he's like 'Hey. Where's my lunch?"

it is not meant to be a romance anime so no one ends up with anyone and no Ryoma is not gay
