Information Processing Technology?

A person who contributes data to an information system but is not involved in it operation and does not use any information or data it produces can be described as;
(a) an end user
(b) a participant
(c) in the system environment
(d) a direct user
I cant find the answer in my textbook ..I'm a bit confused

wth is it direct user or participant?

A direct user makes the most sense. An end-user cares about the output, a participant is too vague, and in the system environment (IMO) means they're receiving some input and generating some output.
