Number 1 is obvious, the question should be "I took Pujols, now what do I do?"
Take Pujols as the first pick and on the way back you should be able to get Hafner and either Rollins or Hanley Ramirez and take care of your need... for speed.

Pujols is the consensus #1 pick. In Yahoo baseball, he is being taken, on the average, at pick 1.2. In other words, Pujols is being taken first in 4/5 drafts, and second in the remaining 1/5.

Nobody else gives you that type of consistent production. Stick with Pujols.

I will have to echo what most have already said, Pujols is too consitently awesome to ignore. As for the guy that said Santana...he must be picking second in your league. The earlist I would take him would be 5th (behind Pujols, Soriano, Howard, and Reyes). Soriano would be the only other one I would give any thought to drafting 1st...I expect an pretty phat stat year from him at Wrigley. Go w/ Albert though, you cant go wrong.

Definately Pujols. He is a fantasy dream. He cracks 40-50 HRs a year, steals at least 5 (05 he stole 16), has a .300 average easy, and knocks a RBI a game. He's everything. However, if you want to focus on pitching, then Johan Santana covers you. He gets you everything except saves. The league leader in wins and strikeouts, a 2.77 ERA, incredible WHIP every year, and if u use K/BB he kicks butt in that 2.

I would take Alfonso Soriano because he gives you HRs,hits, runs,SBs,RBIs,and a decent average. He has the best value overall. Don't go for Pujols because he is just a power hitter. Soriano can give you speed too. But if you like pitching take Santana first thats a no brainer.

Obviously its Pujols. If you don't take him, you are ruining your season. No but seriously... Pujols- lots of HRS, rbi, runs and a high batting average. He also can get you a few steals. And if it isn't a roto league go with Reyes= ownage in more categories.... Triples, doubles, hrs, rbi, runs, ba, steals... good luck.
