song help needed!!! please!!!!?

Question

this is driving me crazy. !!! I hear two versions of a song every single day on the radio and they never say who sings either of them. the lyrics are "take a look at my girlfriend ,she's the only one i've got. take a look at my girlfriend.I never seem to get alot." the one version is older---probably 80's and the second version seems to be a remake with rap added and the line from yet another song"if that aint love then I don't know what love is." thanx for any help!!!!!

The first one is called "Breakfast in America", by Supertramp. 70's. I don't know the other one.
