There are a few different types of "Irish Music" there's Celt rock and traditional style. For Celtic rock try Dropkick Murhy's or Flogging Molly. For a more traditional style try Celitc Woman, I think they're suposed to be pretty good. I personally love the Dubliners for more traditional style as well.

The Irish Rovers are awesome: just visit your local music store like Best Buy and ask for Irish music. They can show you at least a few different selections.
I also went to WalMart and saw 4 or 5 different cds in their St. Patty's Day section with all the decorations, candy, etc.

check Celtic, not just Irish. There's lots of different types just like American music, so really depends on what style you're looking for. Are you wanting traditional, folk music, ballads or contemporary, rock?

There are two radio programs, Celtic Connections and Thistle and Shamrock which often allow downloads of their emerging artists either via the program website or artist sites.
