Check the Dell and HP sites, since they are the leading sellers today.

Plenty of options.

Get a business rather than a home type computer and get a 3 year warantee.

1 GB of RAM minimum

All the rest is not really going to matter unless you are a serious gamer. If yes the see the specialized Gamer machines, but they may not be in your budget.

I hope this helps !

You really can't go wrong with a Dell. We've used many of them at the small business I work at. I will also custom build them as well, but you can't save any money doing that, that's for sure. But our old Dells have ran solidly for over 5 years, with very few hardware failures. Support is decent when there is a problem. And they are an evolving company offering new services all the time. I doubt I'll build any more PCs, as you get a tremendous value, especially during their sales.

I have owned many different off the production line computers. Made by Dell, HP, Compaq, etc. The only way you really get what you want is to build it yourself from the parts that you want. You also get alot more bang for your buck. Contact me at carl9977@gmail.com amd i'll be happy to give you a quote on a new box i can build for you. I have built many for cash on the side and haven't had a complaint yet.

I think Dell are good computers. But know I build my own. I have had a dell computer before and it was a good computer when I did own it. If you want to go with a dell you ca call this number and they would help you design your own system to you needs and your liking. here is there number 1-800-WWW-DELL.
