Dark matter is an invention of some cosmologists to try to explain something that may not exist.
Galaxies turn with the outer arms locked in step with the center
,if it were a satellite system, like the solar system the outer arms would fly away.
To hold then in dark matter was invented.
The galaxy is probably not a satellite system and some other mechanism is in force.
I believe it is some sort of neutron star activity at the center of the galaxy. One day I will try to explain.

The "black stuff" is amazingly no longer something, it truly is the void of area there is is a shortage of substance so there is not any colour. How ever there is something stated as darkish count number number... yet i'm uncertain even if you are able to get that stuff in an familiar previous jar. And a desirable study I study particularly states the universe is beige, no longer blacj like we envision it. interesting isn't it?

Most of space is nothing - just empty space. That is why it looks black when there is nothing there to light it up.

Dark matter is a proposed substance that absorbs light (like a black hole), but most of the darkness of space is not created by this. It is just like a big, really big, empty room with a bunch of small pen lights around it - they are far enough away from you to look like dots - that represents the stars - they are big, but they are soooo far away.

dark matter is a really good guess, as to what it's made of, is one of the most mysterious questions of cosmology. it is estimated that dark matter accounts for more then 80 percent of all known matter in the universe

the black stuff in space, it nothing. It is where there is no light or no reflection from the moon. Gasses are in the air where the black is, but that black stuff is not gas. You can't really go into detail about this.

It is just the area in space where there is no light.

Just as if you go in a dark room with no light source........
