ok, so we have wireless internet highspeed. its cable.. on my PC the high speed works well. but on my mac it is regular slow like dial up.. why is that? any help would be appreciated thanks mandy

Hi Mandy,

So are you saying that you're using your Airport connection on the Mac, but you're not getting a fast connection? There are a bunch of various Airport utility programs for you located in the Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities folder. You can play around with those to give you the information that you need about your connection. Best of luck to you.

It shouldn't be like that, it's not a Mac issue. My Mac computer is currently running off of cable internet that runs through a PC and it's working fine. Make sure you have your wireless router configured properly, and that your router isn't so much older than the wireless card in your computer that they're having a hard time communicating.
