you don't have to ask permission, but warm up to it slowly (the sudden first kiss from nowhere sucks). watch for body language and other clues to see how your date feels about it.

Just go in for the kiss, there are a few seconds there that are unspoken permission - whether or not you get kissed shows whether you got a yes or no.

Depends on the girl, some girls are flatter when you ask them for a kiss, while other like when a guy spontaneously kiss them without asking. However, some girls don't kiss on the first date.

I would say yes because you could never tell what kind of person your dealing with. some people like to kiss and tell on the very first date. And some people find it disrespect. so do your self a favor and ask.Because she could only say yes or no.
