When two angles are complementary, it means that their sum is 90 degrees

G = 3x + 6
H = 2x - 11

G + H = 90
3x + 6 + 2x - 11 = 90
5x - 5 = 90
5x = 95
x = 19

G = 3(19) + 6
= 57 + 6
= 63 degrees

H = 90 - 63 = 27 degrees

G and H are complimentary, so G+H =90 degrees
G=3x+6, H=2x-11
3x+6 + 2x-11 =90 degrees
5x =95
x =19
so
G = 3(19)+6 =63 degrees
H = 2(19)-11 = 27 degrees

complementary means two angle add up to 90 degrees

G + H = 90

3x + 6 + 2x -11 = 90
5x -5 = 90
5x = 95
x = 19

plug 19 for x to get the measure

G+H=90

3x+6+2x-11=90
5x-5=100
5x=95
x= 19
