Most schools that have roller hockey teams have it as club status, not official NCAA/NAIA status, so you won't be seeing any scholarships from it.

Bob Loblaw - It's mopstly schools in the west and south, and they mostly don't have ice hockey teams. Though, off-hand, University of Buffalo does have both an ice and roller team, and some other schools might. But, growing up in Southern California, there weren't many places to play ice hockey, which is why roller hockey caught on better there, and leagues opened up. Some places in California have a high number of leagues, similar in concentration to ice hockey leagues in the North and Northeast, even though there are fewer players, due to roller hockey teams having smaller rosters due to one fewer player on the rink at a time and the games are shorter. Most roller hockey teams I have seen and played for would have a roster of 6-10 attackers and 1 goalie, occasionally 2. You only roll 2 lines, and there are a lot of times you'd double shift your best players, as roller hockey takes less stamina with longer shifts.

Ice Hockey, tons, roller hockey hasn't quite caught on with the same enthusiasm.

No, but since your obviously a little on the slow side, you know, mentally, you may be able to get a scholarship for getting good grades.
