the washburn (wis) CASTLE GUARDS used to meet the cloquet (mn) LUMBERJACKS to play basketball. and the girls' team from cloquet is known as the LUMBERJILLS. go figure.

oh wow this made me remember back to one of the local high schools in my area. and yes, it's completely true...
there was one of many high schools in virginia beach, va and this particular one is called Cox High School. i don't remember the original mascot (i didn't go to that HS) but they had a baseball game going on and somehow girls got into the dugout and were caught giving the players blow-jobs while they waited to play. it made big news obviously when they were caught... the irony of it all? a few days later the school went through with their plans to change their mascot.... what better than... *wait for it*..... the Cox Blowfish!

Cheerleading (football, basketball, competition) - Varsity all 4 years of HS Practices were 6:30 - 9 pm contained in the wrestling room after wrestling practice. Sucks i understand. I did save my grades up. Honor roll each semester until eventually I graduated :) I did orchestra, 3 choirs jointly with coach choir, the school musical, nationwide Honor Society, community volunteer application, and that i had 2 jobs. loved it. a lot in undeniable truth that I do it in college now. i became great busy, besides the undeniable fact that it became all truly well worth the reports. I realized inspite of the truth that to be a lot less busy in college so now i visit concentration on my significant.

Mine's not very unique. The middle school is the Red Devils. The high school is the Patriots. The four elementary schools are the Tigers, Eagles, Hornets, and Wildcats. Don't ya just love our originality.

I went to a HS that was named Middletown MIDDIE Bears. How dumb and 4th grade-ish is that? Man every game i was embarassed to tell ppl what school i went to. I had no middie pride. I always cheered for the other team. The Middie football team was a disgrace.

I go to a tiny nerd school.
Our cross country team was the Matheletes.
Our cheer:
SINE SINE COSINE SINE! 3.14159! GOOO MATHELETES!
We also had the Fighting Calculators, until they decided that we had to have a real mascot that had to be an animate object.
