Some of the statistics about teen curfews can look pretty intimidating. They support a misconception that the only way to curb a few bad teens is to limit the civil liberties of all teens. and not only teens are concerned. other groups have come to our aid. The truth is that most teens do not commit crimes, and it is unfair to punish the many for the crimes of the few.

suggestions for elaboration

*cite some of the "intimidating" statistics for the reader.
*support the claim that " civil liberties" are being infringed upon.
*describe how most teens behave themselves while having fun.
*quote representative views from each side.

I hate to say this but you need to lose that part about "civil liberties". Teens do not have them. You need to be an adult. Instead focus on other things.
