i have a macintosh powerbook 160?

my macintosh powerbook 160 has not been used for a number of years it will not turn on now (that is the problem ) how do i turn on the computer when i do all i get is a black screen i tried the contrast setting on the side still no luck help would be appreciated thanks

Hi Norton,

First off, you have the power cord connected, right? I'm sure that the battery is very dead, and is so old that it may not be able to hold a charge. I've Googled your PowerBook and you can do that to get sites like this:
