Currently, I have a dsl connection with SBC (which i think converted to something else.. I'm not sure what) and I want a faster connection. I'm in the 92507 area, if it matters. What internet connections are faster than mine and who offers them (in my area)?

SBC (Now AT&T) offer connection speeds of up to 6.0Mbs but you need to pay extra. You can upgrade online or call customer service.

You can probably get cable.. cable is generally faster than DSL. Most home users have a 1.5mbps DSL connection.. and a standard cable connection is around 4mbps.

Any cable provider, should be able to give you high speed. If no cable, the DSL is probably what you have to live with.
