i'm trying to find the potential energy, not the potential difference

because the charge Q=VC, energy=1/2 VQ.

There is no such thing as "microfarad's". 0.25 micro Farads is 250 nanofarads, which is 0.000000250 Farads. That is not a lot of potential energy. The stored energy is 400 volts.
